📅 7–10 May 2026 | Rome, Circo Massimo
From May 7 to 10, Rome will host one of the most important events dedicated to breast cancer awareness and prevention: the Race for the Cure, organized by Komen Italia.
Recognized as the largest initiative in Italy—and one of the most significant worldwide—this event combines sport, health, and solidarity in a powerful and inclusive experience. Held under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, it brings together thousands of people every year in the symbolic setting of the Circo Massimo.
More Than a Race
Race for the Cure is not just a sporting event. It is a collective moment of awareness, where prevention becomes visible and shared.
At the center of the event are the Women in Pink—women who are currently facing or have faced breast cancer. Wearing their iconic pink shirts, they represent the true heart of the initiative. Their presence is both a testimony and a message: a reminder of the importance of early detection and a symbol of hope for the approximately 56,000 women diagnosed every year in Italy.
Around them, a wider community takes shape. Families, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and institutions come together to support research, promote healthy lifestyles, and strengthen a culture of prevention.
Ecole at Race for the Cure
This year, Ecole will also be part of the Race for the Cure, contributing to this shared moment of engagement and awareness.
You will find us within the Policlinico Gemelli stand, where we will be present alongside healthcare professionals and initiatives dedicated to prevention, education, and patient-centered care.
Our participation reflects a broader commitment: supporting initiatives that connect health, awareness, and community, and contributing to a more informed and inclusive approach to care.
Join the Event
Whether you run, walk, or simply take part, Race for the Cure is open to everyone.
It is an opportunity to support a cause that concerns us all, to stand alongside those who face the disease, and to promote a culture where prevention and care go hand in hand.
